Properties located in groundwater areas or within 100 metres of waterways must renew their wastewater treatment system by 31 October 2019. If your summer cottage only has well-point water and a dry toilet, which do not pose a risk of environmental contamination, there is no need to worry about renewing the wastewater treatment system.
